CRITICAL METALS

Fireweed owns three critical metals projects in northern Canada.

  • The Macpass Project is one of the largest undeveloped zinc projects in the world.
  • The Mactung Project is the largest high-grade tungsten deposit in the world.
  • The Gayna Project has great exploration potential for zinc, germanium, gallium, lead, and silver.

Through progressive leadership, innovation and collaboration, Fireweed plans to sustainably advance its critical metals projects towards mine development.

Why are critical metals important? What are zinc and tungsten used for?

* References to relative size and grade of the Mactung resources and Macpass resources in comparison to other tungsten and zinc deposits elsewhere in the world, respectively, are based on review of the Standard & Poor’s Global Market Intelligence Capital IQ database.
