Marcus Chalk

Marcus is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) with over 25 years experience as a leading strategic and capital markets advisor in the global metals and mining industry.

Since the early 2000’s, Marcus worked in the investment banking sector for Macquarie North America (Toronto and Vancouver) and CIBC Wood Gundy (Toronto, Sydney and Vancouver). In 2006, Marcus led the Vancouver mining investment banking team at Scotiabank for a 14-year tenure. In May 2020, he founded GenCap Mining Advisory.

Marcus holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario and is a CFA Charterholder.
