Pamela O’Hara

Pamela is a registered Professional Biologist with over 30 years’ experience in approval acquisition for mining and transportation infrastructure projects and understands the complex and evolving regulatory landscape.

Pamela has led and supported environment- and community-related aspects of projects for numerous companies including Fireweed Metals, Goldcorp Inc., Yukon Zinc, BHP, Newmont, Canadian Pacific Railway, and the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority whose projects are established both internationally and in Canada. She has extensive experience on projects in the Yukon, where she has been involved in project-approval related activities, conducted mine closure assessments for Yukon Energy, Mines and Resources, and successfully implemented a socioeconomic participation agreement with the Kaska Dena Nation during construction and early operation of the Wolverine Mine.

Pamela holds a Master of Science in Environment and Management from Royal Roads University and a Bachelor of Science in Oceanography and Biology from the University of British Columbia.
