Penny Johnson

Penny has almost 20 years of mining and public company experience with a focus on corporate governance and shareholder services including legal and regulatory compliance, board and committee matters, continuous disclosure requirements, corporate transactions, financings, and corporate records. 

Before joining Fireweed in 2022, Penny served as Corporate Secretary for Bluestone Resources Inc. since February 2018, and was the Assistant Corporate Secretary for Nevsun Resources Ltd. from 2013 to 2018. Penny is a member of the Governance Professionals of Canada and is a graduate of Brigham Young University.
