Wojtek Wodzicki

Dr. Wodzicki holds a doctorate in Geosciences from the University of Arizona and brings over 30 years of international experience in mineral exploration and corporate leadership. Dr. Wodzicki has led successful exploration teams worldwide, managing large‑scale projects from the generative stage through to engineering studies.

Teams led by Dr. Wodzicki are responsible for several significant discoveries, including Los Helados, Josemaría, Filo del Sol, El Limón-Guajes, and NGEx Minerals’ Lunahuasi deposit. Dr. Wodzicki is the recipient of the 2024 PDAC Thayer Lindsley Award for International Mineral Discovery, recognizing the Lundin Group Vicuña Exploration Team’s discovery of the Vicuña copper‑gold‑silver district in Argentina and Chile.

Since joining the Lundin Group in 2007, he has served as CEO of Josemaria Resources Inc. (formerly NGEx Resources Inc.), Filo Corp., and Sanu Resources Ltd., and as a director of several public companies. He was responsible for the spinout of NGEx Minerals and Filo Corp. from Josemaria Resources, as well as the spinout of LunR Royalties Corp., which holds royalty interests on NGEx Minerals’ projects. Dr. Wodzicki is a former director of Filo Corp. acquired by BHP/Lundin Mining for $4.5 billion and Josemaria Resources acquired in 2022 for $625 million.

Dr. Wodzicki currently serves as a director of LunR Royalties Corp.
