Macpass is one of the world’s largest undeveloped high-grade zinc projects*

OVERVIEW

The Macpass Project is located in eastern Yukon approximately 200 km from Ross River, near the Northwest Territories border and within the traditional territories of the Kaska Dena Nation and the First Nation of Na-cho Nyäk Dun. The Project is host to large zinc-lead-silver deposits within a district-scale 940 km2 area, and is accessible via the North Canol Road, and by air via the Macmillan Pass aerodrome.
Macpass is emerging as a district-scale zinc opportunity consisting of several large zinc-lead-silver occurrences including the Tom, Jason, Boundary, and End zones, as well as other high-potential targets along a highly prospective mineralization corridor. Fireweed continues to advance the project through systematic exploration and drilling, technical and environmental studies, and social engagement leading toward future project assessment and permitting.

Tom
  • Tom and Jason are high-grade zinc-lead-silver deposits with a Mineral Resource Estimate from 2018. An existing camp, road access and a government airstrip are already in place.
  • 11.21 Mt Indicated @ 9.61% ZnEq (6.59% Zinc, 2.48% Lead, 21.33 g/t Silver)
  • 39.47 Mt Inferred @ 10.00% ZnEq (5.84% Zinc, 3.14% Lead, 38.15 g/t Silver)
  • Boundary Zone is an advanced prospect with more than 32,000 m of drilling between approximately 100 holes. There are no current Mineral Resources defined at Boundary Zone.
  • High grade zinc-lead-silver mineralization is present in a steeply dipping laminated to massive sulphide stratiform zone, surrounded by a halo of vein and breccia mineralization that extends 100 to 150 m on either side.
  • Tom and Jason are high-grade zinc-lead-silver deposits with a Mineral Resource Estimate from 2018. An existing camp, road access and a government airstrip are already in place.
